Depart from the school to Old Delhi Railway Station to board Mussoorie Express for Haridwar. Overnight in the train.
Arrive at Haridwar and after breakfast board the coach to depart for Uttarkashi.
Arrive Uttarkashi and check in to the BharatinIndia Nature Resort for overnight stay.
Morning after breakfast drive to Road Head at Kalyani (1550 mt). Start your first day’s trek to
Bhewra (2160 mt). The trek passes through dense forest. Arrive Bhewra and set-up camp near waterfall for overnight stay.
After breakfast start the trek to Majhi. Stop here for lunch. Majhi has few Shepherd hut and it offers very beautiful view of Darwa Top. After lunch continue Trek to Dodital (3024m). Dodital is a beautiful lake surrounded by forests of Pine, Deodar, Oak etc. Lake is full of Himalayan Golden Trouts. Arrive and overnight stay in BharatinIndia tents.
After breakfast trek down to Agoda. Set-up camp at Agoda for overnight stay in the tents.
After breakfast trek down to Kalyani. On reaching the road head, drive down to Haridwar.
Board Mussoorie Express to transfer to Delhi. Overnight in the train.
Arrive Delhi. Board the coach to transfer to the school.
The Ganges is considered the most sacred river in India. The legend is that the Goddess Ganga descended on Earth from heaven at Gangotri and so the Gangotri is considered as Source of Ganges. There is a temple at Gangotri dedicated to Mother Ganges. Gangotri is one of the holy place and a Dham among Char Dhams. The actual source of The Ganges is known as Gaoumukh which is 19 km from Gangotri. Orignal name of the stream is Bhagirathi which is originating from Gaumukh Glacier. The trek follows the river upstream to the actual source at Gaumukh. The tour starts from the holy city of Rishikesh, known as ‘Gateway to Himalayas’. Uttarkashi is the holy town on the way. This exiting trek offers fantastic view of beautiful mountains like Shivling (6543 m) , Meru, Kedardom, Sudarshan and Bhagirathi group of mountains.
Depart from the school in the afternoon. Arrive New Delhi Railway Station to board train for Haridwar. Overnight in the train.
Arrive at Haridwar and after breakfast board the coach to depart for Uttarkashi. Arrive Uttarkashi and check in to the BharatinIndia Nature Resort for overnight stay.
After breakfast depart for Gangotri (3048 M) by covering approx 90 kms in 4 hr. Gangotri is the place where the daughter Ganga descended on Earth. There is a Temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga where thousands of pilgrims throng to pay homage to her. Gangotri is also the road head for climbing expedition to Mt. Shivaling, Thalay Sagar, Bhrigupanth, satopanth, Bhagirathi etc. We visit Gangotri Temple and explore in and around the area. Dinner and Overnight stay at Gangotri.
After breakfast start first days trek to Bhojbasa via Chirbasa 3600 Mt. following the river Bhagirathi on right bank by covering approx 10 kms in 4-5 hrs. Trek is full of fascinating Himalayan sights and you can have beautiful views of snow clapped peaks around. Upon arrival at Bhojbasa, set up camp for overnight stay.
Morning after breakfast start trekking to reach Gaumukh (3892 mt) from Bhojbasa (3792 mt) (with packed lunch). The river Bhagirathi emerges from the Gangotri Glacier at Gaumukh. Enjoy the fabulous sight there and in the afternoon return to Bhojbasa for rest and overnight stay.
After b/fast start the last leg of trek to Gangotri. On arrival, drive to Uttarkashi and check-into BharatinIndia Nature Resort for overnight stay.
After an early lunch check out from the SNR. Depart for Haridwar. Enroute visit Har Ki Pauri Ghat to see the evening Aarti at Haridwar. After dinner transfer to the station to board Mussoorie Express scheduled at 2320hrs for Delhi. Overnight in the train.
Roopkund (Skeleton Lake) is a glacial lake in Uttarakhand state of India famous due to more than five hundred human skeletons found at the edge of a lake. This lake is also called Mystry Lake. The location is uninhabited and is located in Himalaya at an altitude of about 5,029 metres (16,499 feet). A small glacial lake in the lap of Jurighati Dhar is the culmination point of annual Nanda Raj Jat. During the festival people from the villages bring their presiding deity to Roop Kund. Places on the way of this tour are Rishikesh, Lohajung, Didana, Ali Bugyal, Bedni Bugyal, Bhaguabasa, Bhuna, Sitel, and Rudrprayag.

Arrive Rishikesh and after breakfast board the coach to depart for Lohajang (275 km). Overnight in tents in Wan.
Begin the 13km uphill trek and reach the ‘Bugyals’ (high altitude meadows) of Bedini (3350m) a beautiful location with magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. Overnight in Tent.
Start your day with 2 hours of gradual climb up, uninterrupted views of Trisul range and Nanda Ghunti can be appreciated. The trail crosses a hump to reach Bistola and then climbs up to Baguabasa, an improvised stone shelter that is generally used by local pilgrims. Overnight stay in tent.
Stupendous views of Trisul and the mountains around. An arduous and spectacular trek for about three hours gets us to Roop Kund (4450mt), a holy lake surrounded by glaciers and high peaks and situated on the outer rim of the Nanda Devi Sanctuary. Overnight in Tent in Baguabasa.
Return trek to Badni Bugyal. The trek then makes a long, steep descent through a fine forest of firs and rhododendrons and across a beautiful clearing with much of the track being paved.
Early morning start your trek to Wan (13 km).Overnight in tents in Wan.
Morning after breakfast drive to Rishikesh. Arrive Rishikesh and check in to the hotel for overnight stay.
Depart for Delhi. Arrive Delhi and transfer to the school.
